María Camila Cifuentes

Visual artist and cultural projects manager based in Paris, originally from Bogotá, Colombia. Trained in visual arts and philosophy, and holding an MBA in the international art market, she develops a practice at the crossroads of artistic creation, curation, and production.

Her work unfolds through a daily exercise in silent, timeless contemplation, where the ordinary becomes sensitive material. Through her visual projects, she delicately explores human desire, bodily gestures, and representations of sexuality — questioning how intimacy reveals itself in public space, and how images can give shape to the unspeakable.

Alongside her artistic practice, Cifuentes leads a dynamic career in cultural project management, focusing on socially engaged and interdisciplinary initiatives. She has developed and produced exhibitions across diverse contexts, fostering access to art through workshops, collaborative programs, and international partnerships.

Based between France and Colombia, she weaves connections between memory, territory, and identity, bridging artistic creation and cultural mediation to build dialogues that transcend borders.
